This is among the funniest and most telling pieces of social-religious commentary I’ve seen for a while. Clive Hamilton from The Australia Institute has asked Australians which politicians are most likely to ‘get in to heaven’. It is a fascinating piece of reading for anyone interested in what people think religion is all about, and how people think God judges us. Perhaps the most interesting figure for me is the 63% of correspondents believe in some sort of afterlife.
